The Dec. 6 meeting at Orchard Vali G.C. was a great example of why we have a Superintendent's Association. Nearly 40 members showed up and chewed the fat for 40 minutes before the Program -Sharing Irrigation Techniques. We had 3 discussion leaders but at least a dozen more contributed to a very informative discussion. This was a year where we all needed to use our irrigation systems to their maximum efficiency. Lots of good info on assessing needs and how best to meet them. Great lunch, as usual and more interaction. Time really well spent.

2012 POA Tournament update Confirmed at Timber Banks Aug 27th or 28th we are going with 4 man teams for next year's. POA therefore $280 per team. Next Meeting

We have developed a relationship with the Onon.-Cayuga BOCES in the
hopes of getting some good mechanics in the future. They have a terrific
facility and teacher as well as a forming adult ed. class.
What we need is some older equipment for the students to work on.
Most of us have a piece of equip in the shop that doesn't quite run but
could with a little attention. Not good enough to use but too good to
throw away. That's what we need for BOCES Call Steve Kurta or Dick
Perry and we'll figure out a way to get it to them.
